Instructions

    1. Combine 3/4 c of the flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in the bowl of the mixer.

    2. Heat the milk water and butter until very warm, 120-130 degrees

    3. Add the liquid to the flour and beat on medium for two minutes.

    4. Continue to stir in the remaining flour on low speed, 1/4 c at a time until blended, making a soft dough.

    5. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes and then place it in a lightly oiled bowl, covered. Let it rest for 10 minutes

    6. After 10 or more minutes, divide the dough equally into 12 pieces. Make them smooth, round balls and place them in a well greased metal round cake pan. Place them, lightly covered, in a warm dry place, to rise, for 30 minutes.

    7. Brush with melted butter and bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes. If desired, brush again when done and serve warm.
