Sweet and Spicy Beans and Sausage

Instructions

    Soak beans overnight.

    In the morning, rinse beans. Brown the sausage and add to the beans. In same pan, cook the onions, ham and brown sugar until saucy. Add to the beans.

    Mix in the barbeque sauce, cheyenne pepper, garlic powder and sorghum.

    Place in slow cooker on low heat for 6 - 8 hours. Stir occasionally.

  • 1 Lb Ham (Diced)
  • 1 Lb Ground Sausage
  • 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 Cup Barbecue Sauce (Sweet Baby Rays)
  • 1/2 Cup Sorghum (Or Substitute with Maple Syrup)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • 1 Tbls Cheyenne Pepper
  • 2 Tbls Garlic powder
